Brett aka Capt. America has been a staple in our music scene diet from before we were even a band. His insight and pure excitement for the local music scene are things I admire. I was blown away to see him name drop us as one of his favorite bands.

We showed up on this blog today thanks to last.fm. Its totally crazy to see people just finding our music that we put out in 2005. I hope the trend continues. It prompted me to find even more resources on the web for our music.
Keeping it going.
We have been working on a song titled The Peacocks the last couple weeks. We have so many ideas and thoughts about it that I cant even start to tell you what it sounds like. But I do know that the way we are going about writing these songs has really taken me (Dandee) off my stride. You get comfortable doing things certain ways, and when you force your self to do it different you realize just...
WatchWe were going to try to record some vocal tracks tonight but Jim was a little upset over the fact we wanted to use Pro Tools. So we had to call it off. Lucky for us, we had the video camera running. Jim would probably deny that it was his idea to call it off.
The experiment begins.
One of the things we said we wanted to do with the new record was to make it a little more experimental. Well, as most things here in the Lousy Robot camp that means many different things. So to get things started we asked our great friend and long time producer John Dufilho to help us out and play drums on the new record. He agreed and things are taking off already.
