The experiment begins.

One of the things we said we wanted to do with the new record was to make it a little more experimental.  Well, as most things here in the Lousy Robot camp that means many different things.  So to get things started we asked our great friend and long time producer John Dufilho to help us out and play drums on the new record.  He agreed and things are taking off already.

I don’t know how many of you downloaded Christmas in Berlin while we had it up on MySpace in December but if you did, you now have a collectors item.  We were all so excited about the potential of the song we used it as the first experiment for the record. We sent it off to John and gave him freedom to do what he wanted.  The result we got back were amazing.  We will share it here soon, but for the time being we wanted to sit on it and keep going to see where we end up.
